We’ve just dropped our first episode in May, The Diamond Heist (Netflix). It’s just family, as we chat about this very British 3 part docu-series (at 45 minutes an episode, it’s a speedy watch)
Coming up…
May 13: Deadly American Marriage, and Untold: Shooting Guards (both on Netflix) with Jason Reed
May 20: The Bakersfield 3 (Max from May 11) with official third chair Sarah D Bunting
May 27: Pee-wee As Himself (Netflix from May 26)
What we’re not watching …
We’re eating good in May. We even had to shove 2 properties together for our episode with Jason just to get to it all. So we’re going to be missing a few, which we’ll cover in other ways
American Monster: Abuse of Power (Max from May 19) is another telling of the Larry Nassar abuse case. Sarah will be watching that, along with previous properties on the subject Athlete A (Netflix 2020) and At The Heart of Gold (Max in the US & Foxtel in Australia) by our true crime crush Erin Lee Carr, and reviewing them all
We also won’t be covering American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden on the main feed, but we hope to persuade listener favourite Mari’s dad Tony Cox to chat about it with us on a mini episode, which we will post here
We covered a previous property in the series American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing with Mary Kwiatkowski in episode 54, and thought it was excellent
